A meeting on “Women and society” was held at the Tajik State University of Commerce on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the people's democratic party of Tajikistan (PDPT). The meeting was attended by Boboeva G. I.-head of the Department for women's Affairs at the Central Committee of the PDPT, Makhmadzoda N.-head of the Department for women's Affairs of the Executive Committee of the PDPT in Dushanbe, Shukurzoda S.-Deputy Chairman of the Executive body of state power in the Firdavsi district, Safarzoda Z. - an employee of the people's democratic party in the Firdavsi district, as well as female teachers and University students.
With a welcoming speech, the meeting was opened by a specialist in women's Affairs of TSUC Gafurova Jamila, who congratulated the participants on behalf of the University administration. Then boboeva G. M. read out a congratulatory message from the Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the people's democratic party of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the people's democratic party of Tajikistan (PDPT). Mahmudzoda N. She made a report on the topic "Women and society" and noted the important role of women in the development of the country's economy in conditions of freedom, equality, social guarantees and respect for human dignity.

At the end of the meeting, Gafurova Jamila noted the activities of women in TSUC, thereby assuring that the female half of the University will faithfully serve for the benefit of the Motherland and make a significant contribution to the development and prosperity of the country.
