On September 28, 2020, a seminar on the topic "Preparing volunteers as an auxiliary force for the election day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan", which will be held on October 11, 2020, with the participation of Dilnoza Akhmadzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government Of the Republic of Tajikistan and Abdujabbor Kodirzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Central Commission on Elections and Referendums under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

With a welcoming speech, the seminar was opened by Tolibov Kobil Kosimovich, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work, thanking the organizers for organizing such an important event.

Then D.  Akhmadzoda in her speech informed that 10 thousand experienced volunteers from all cities and regions of the country are involved in an important political campaign, of which 250 volunteers are fluent in Tajik, Russian and English, and will help international observers as guides. She also noted that the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Commission on Elections and Referendums under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan will comprehensively cooperate with volunteers during the election campaign.

Kodirzoda noted that the upcoming political campaign should be transparent and the visit of international observers is expected, therefore the Commission on Elections and Referendums under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan attracted volunteers to assist in organizational matters, in particular, for voter registration, distribution of information materials, accompanying international observers and to help the elderly and people with disabilities at polling stations. The speaker also presented to the participants of the seminar the "Recommendations for volunteers at the elections of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan" developed by the Central Commission on Elections and Referenda under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Students also received satisfactory answers to their questions. At the end of the seminar Tolibov K.K. on behalf of the university administration, he thanked the guests for holding such an important and useful seminar and stressed that the volunteers of the Tajik State University of Commerce will be actively involved on the day of the election of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
