On November 7, 2017, was held a scientific seminar on the topic of "Training of scientific personnel and defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations in the Dissertation Council of the Tajik State University of Commerce".

Within the seminar, Vice-rector for Science and Innovation Dr. Prof. Radzhab Rajab R.K. and Head of the Department of Science and Innovations, associate professor Sharopov F.R. have expressed their speech.

The main purpose of this seminar was to explain the main functions and tasks of the Dissertation Council, the procedure for writing dissertations and awarding academic degrees.
