I congratulate you on the beginning of the new academic year! International Knowledge Day - September 1st is the symbolic start of new activities for Academic World.

We take care of every student and all the necessary conditions have been created at the university for students, graduates to study and all-round development of personality, for the formation of competencies that are required and needed in the modern labor market.

I believe today’s first-year student has made the right choice entering the Tajik State University of Commerce. The University gives everyone an opportunity to make their lives exciting. It provides higher educations and opens up an infinite world of opportunities in science. Our students and staff prove it when they make their discoveries and innovations, receive grants and scholarships, won international competitions.

It is gratifying that, given a wide range of specialties; graduates are increasingly choosing universities offering mostly economic related fields. This shows that the profession of "economist" in our country is an outstanding and in demand.

Distinguished teachers and staff! I want to congratulate you on the holiday and thank you for your commitment to your profession, for the knowledge that you share with students and graduate for the benefit of our country. I am confident that the successful future of Tajikistan depends on changes in education, the formation of a wide circle of professionals who know how and why to carry out reforms in our country and are the people with clear civic position.
