On October 30, 2014 at the Conference Hall of Tajik State University of Commerce was held a Tempus workshop on "Human Resource Management in Higher Education of the Republic of Tajikistan". Representatives from universities of the Republic of Tajikistan attended the workshop. The list of attended universities are as follows:

- Tajik State University of Commerce;

- Technological University of Tajikistan;

- Tajik Agrarian University named after Sh Shotemur;

- Tajik State Institute of Foreign Languages named after S. Ulugzoda;

- Tajik State University of Law, Business and Policy, Khujand City;

- Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, Chkalovsk;

- Danghara State University;

The purpose of the workshop was a discussion of a research conducted by independent experts of the Tempus program about actual issues in human resource management in Central Asian higher education system. Presentations were delivered by the experts from higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan: Sanginov N.S, Kodirova Z.H, Sharopov F.R.
