Educational management is the most important structure of the university, the main task of which is to plan, organize, monitor, regulate the educational process, improve its quality, develop curricula and programs, calculate the load of teachers and monitor their implementation. The Training Department was established on June 7, 2017 on the basis of the Training Department.

The activities of the department are based on the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Education", "On Higher and Postgraduate Education", "Model regulations of the institution "Higher Education", "State Standard of Higher Education in the Republic of Tajikistan", normative legal acts in the field of higher education, the charter and orders of the rector of the university and the regulations of the educational department.

The Educational Department assists the teaching staff of the university in the development of educational programs and textbooks, teaching materials in accordance with the requirements of state educational standards.

For the entire period of its operation, the department of organization and control of the educational process, the department of monitoring and quality control of education and the registration and consultation center were an integral part of the educational department.

In order to enter the world educational space, ensure and improve the quality of education and training of students in the framework of academic mobility programs in foreign universities, in September 2004, the Tajik State University of Commerce was included in the list of pilot universities for the introduction of a credit system of training in the educational process, taking into account national characteristics. Starting from the 2009-2010 academic year, the full-time and part-time departments of TSUС have been fully transferred to the credit system of training.

Since 2017, the head of the educational department is Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Mukhitdin Khamitov.
